CFO Recruitment Methodology
Our nationwide database consists of thousands of exceptionally well-qualified CFO and financial executive candidates. This is our starting point in beginning a search. Our database consists of candidates who have been pre-screened and pre-qualified through our rigorous interview process who meet our most stringent requirements. Except for the most extraordinary situations, our database consists of CFOs and financial executives who are at the top of their game, currently employed, not actively looking, but open to hearing about a great opportunity.
The next step in our process is reaching out to our trusted network of candidates to find out who they might know for a particular opportunity. We only ask for recommendations for candidates who they feel are truly exceptional. We then put them through our rigorous interview and screening process to determine if they are special. Once they’ve gone through that process and we feel strongly about their background, qualifications and skill set, then and only then are they added to our database.
If we have not yet located enough high-quality candidates for our client’s opening with our first two steps, we will then begin the process of direct recruiting in an attempt to gain additional candidates. This process involves calling directly into companies and recruiting candidates out of similar industries. This is a skill that many inexperienced recruiters do not possess. All of our recruiters at CFO Search have substantial direct recruiting experience and have mastered the art of direct recruiting.
As a final method for sourcing outstanding financial executive candidates, our recruiters are experts in professional networking.
